The Infot Business Directories cover several countries/areas and thousands of industries. It's free for any registered business to list their business profile on one or more directories to let their business information published on Infot's CD-ROMs, online directories services, and affiliated websites, as well as printed materials, books ..

However, we do not accept

Personal information such as resumes, web pages for hobbies, pets, families ...
Political information such as government organizations, policies, political events ...
Any other non-business information.

Steps to submit your business profile

To let your business listed on Infot business directories, you should submit the necessary information about your business, here are the steps:

Find a appropriate directory
Find the appropriate category from the appropriate directory
Submit your information from the appropriate category
If necessary, purchase the extra service for submission and listing
Resubmit the data if your submission was not listed in 3 months c and there is no notice of rejection

Infot is maintaining several business directories and you should find a appropriate directory to let your business information accepted and listed.

Always find the directory for your country first

Businesses from the following countries/areas should submit their profiles to the directory for their country/area respectively:

Global

You can submit your business to more than directories as long that they are appropriate. A Hong Kong business can submit itself to Hong Kong, China as well as Global, but not the Japan or Korea.

Find the appropriate category

Finding an appropriate category for your site is at the heart of this process and you have to find the proper category for your business before your information can be submitted. Submission to a improper category will simply be rejected.

Due to the large category structure of each directory, you have to browse the directory to find the most appropriate category for your business.
Always submit to the deepest level category you can find. For example, if your business is about dyestuff, you should submit your profile to /Chemical/Dyestuff/ instead of /Chemical/. If you are doing import/export business only and there is a category under the dyestuff as /Chemical/Dyestuff/Importers and Exporters/, you should submit your business to this one.
Suggest the alternative categories where you are asked to do that. If not, you can repeat the submission to different categories.

Submit your information from the appropriate category

You can only start the submission process from the appropriate category by clicking the "submit" link.

When you browse the category page, you can find one or more "submit" links which read like "Submit your company" or "List your company here". If you do not such links, this level of this category may be too upper and you should go to deeper.

Some directories may show this link in their only language to avoid unwanted submissions and some directory may not want English submissions at all.

Click the "submit link" and you may see further instructions, if so, please follow the instructions to submit your information properly.

If you see the submit form (may also titled as "Registration form"), complete the form with your own data as possible as you can and then press the Submit button to submit the data you entered. If your submission was rejected for some reasons, read the instructions, go back and locate the problems, correct (or complete) them and press the "Submit" button again.

This service is optional and help you move your entry up to the top of list in the categories where your profile is listed.

This service is provided by Infot as well as its affiliated partners who run the website that you submit your profile to. Infot can only improve your rank in the central database so the new released CD-ROM, printed materials and updated websites will take your new rank.

You can also purchase the service from the website you are visiting. Check the advertise program for such service or contact their webmaster for further instruction

Searching Rank

This service is optional and help you move your entry up to the top of search results where your profile is included.

Resubmission and more websites, subsidiaries

Resubmission

To a certain directory, you can only resubmit your data if your submission was not listed in 3 months and there is no notice of rejection. Violation of this policy will block all further submission from you.

More websites

If your business have more than one websites, it the contents of them are identical (may be in different language), please submit one of them only. Please do not submit the virtual websites such as Geocities/Yahoo unless it's the only one your business has.

More subsidiaries

If your business has some subsidiaries (sub companies, factories, stores but not departments or offices), you can submit them in different title. For very large companies with many subsidiaries, Infot may create new category for them.
